This course presents students with the formation of the modern Chinese language and its global status. It systematically discusses the pronunciation, words, vocabulary, grammar and rhetoric of common speech (putonghua). By providing systematic instruction, students learn to utilize Chinese accurately and enhance their analytical and applicative skills. Additionally, the course familiarizes students with fundamental concepts of modern Chinese while fostering their capacity to observe, analyze, and understand pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar. Consequently, students gain essential theoretical insights and knowledge in modern Chinese language studies.

本课程为汉语言文学专业的必修课。 主要讲授： 现代汉语的形成和世界地位， 使学生全面的掌握现代汉语普通话语音、文字、词汇、语法和修辞的系统知识， 从而正确的使用汉语，提高分析汉语和应用汉语的能力。本课程除要求学生掌握汉语的基础知识外，也培养学生观察、分析和解释汉语语音、词汇、语法现象的能力。因此，通过本课程的学习，将帮助学生掌握现代汉语的基本理论与知识。
