This course provides the basic skills and knowledge in the process, techniques and principles of design for editorial work such as newsletters, newspapers, magazines and books. Students will be exposed to a variety of PC-based typographic, design, illustration and Graphic image editing software. In addition, this course will emphasize the design and layout of type, illustrations and photographic images in colour for print and online publications.
