HISTORY OF MODERN CHINA is an introductory knowledge for studying Modern China History. The subject is designed to be completed in one semester. The teaching contents of Modern China History included the development of modern China history in the 110 years since the Opium War to the established of Republic of China. The subject guiding students to understand the historical changes in politics, economics, literature, and education during old democratic revolution period from 1840 to 1919, and the new democracy from 1919 to 1949. Students will be guided towards the direction of enhancing their capability in speculate on history.
