本课程引导学生精读唐诗与宋代名家的代表词作，培养中文系本科生对诗词的阅读及鉴赏能力。课程对中国诗词的发展、诗词体的规制、作品的创作与诠释均有系统的讲解，并涉及诗词人的生活状况、时代风格的特质；学生得以理解并掌握唐宋时期代表作家的代表作品，较准确地把握其思想情感及艺术特征，能深入细致地分析、评论诗词。
Through reading the selected works of Tang and Song poetry, this course offers a critical study of Tang and Song poetry in terms of its origins, developments, metrical patterns, creation, and annotation. Outstanding writers and their works will be introduced to students, as well as the writers’ background and the prevailing style of their time. Hence, students will be able to master the thoughts, emotions and artistic features of representative works of Tang and Song poetry; and be able to examine and appreciate Tang and Song poetry.
