This course emphasis on various skills required of professionals in the media industry in Mandarin. Students are guided with positioning of speech organs and articulation of various phonemes and their clusters in the Mandarin Language. Students are also exposed to the phonetic symbols and their chart. Various situational drills such as voice over, taking the role of deejay, master of ceremony, newscaster etc. It is given to improve students' ability in applying the correct stress, rhythm, intonation, control of voice, speed, and volume of delivery etc. The elements learnt will be assessed in some special occasions throughout the course. Malaysian speakers' common flaws and weaknesses in Mandarin pronunciation are also focused.
本课程重点介绍普通话媒体行业专业人员所需的各种技能。通过该课程，学生会掌握语音器官的定位，各种音素及其汉语普通话的发音。学生还可以通过语音符号和图表来进行正确的发音练习。通过该课程，学生有机会进行各种情景训练，如配音，节目主持、仪式主持、新闻播音等。该课程旨在提高学生应用正确的重音、节奏、语调、声音控制、传递速度和音量等的能力。课程所学内容将在课程中的具体场合练习阶段进行联系并得到评估。马来西亚华语发音在普通话发音中的常见缺陷和弱点也会作为课程内容进行学习。
