This course is an elective paper. The course mainly studies the relationship between language and culture, the cultural background of language evolution, language contact and artistic communication, language and folk customs, Chinese characters and culture and dialect and culture. It may lead students to understand the relationship between language and culture and master research methods in language and linguistics. Through the linguistic phenomenon, they guide students to explore the cultural meaning behind the language and understand the relationship between language and culture.
本课程是一门选修课。本课程主要探讨语言和文化的关系、语言演变的文化背景、语言接触和文化交流、语言和民俗、汉字与文化以及方言与文化等等。不仅引导学生对语言和文化的关系进行思考和探索，并且初步掌握研究方法。引导学生透过语言现象，探究语言背后的文化涵义，认识语言与文化的关系。
