本课程以中国古代文学及历史名著为研读对象，中国历代文学及史学经典浩若烟海，课程可以从经典作品集中择一进行研读，以选篇导读为原则。藉由探讨这些中国文学和史学经典作品中所蕴涵的思想内容、艺术特色、创作精神、文化传统和民族思想，提升学生对文学经典的认识，并期能鼓励有志于研究的同学涉猎此一范畴。
本学期选读之经典为《庄子》。
This course will discuss ancient Chinese literature and historical masterpieces. The ideological contents, artistic features, creative spirits, cultural tradition and nationalistic thoughts and of these classical Chinese literary works are explored, thus enhancing student’s knowledge of Chinese classical literary works and arousing their research interests in Chinese classics.
