This course will guide students to discuss some topics on chinese history, such as dynasty history and research into few important writers and their works. Through this course, students get to know the current research achievements and research tendency, as well as some controversial topics. At the end of thise course, students will be able to explore their research interests and to obtain a new horizon of analyzing and appreciating chinese history.
本课程引导学生在已习得的中国历史的基础上，更深入地探讨一些中国历史的课题，例如断代历史以及重要的政治制度、学术思想等。透过专题的探讨，学生能了解现有的研究成果和研究趋向，包括一些有争议的问题。通过对课题中某些方面的重点分析，引发对不同研究角度与方法的探讨，从而拓展学生批评和鉴赏的眼界，并引发中国历史研究的兴趣。
