This course is an introduction to the fundamental principles of visual studies and techniques. Emphasis will be placed on idea and concept development, art and design, visual studies, colour study principles. It explores the visual concepts in art and design and concepts of conventional layout, different drawing techniques and illustration. Practical experience and practice in using graphic media for idea development to implementation will be stressed throughout this course. Students will apply the principles of visual study and drawing techniques to produce impressive artworks.
