Research
methods are not just a set of research-specific “tools”. In this course,
research methods are presented as a model for systematic inquiry and critical
thinking about issues of race/ethnicity, class, gender and the effects
of mass produced culture on individuals and society. Students are introduced to
research concepts, quantitative and
qualitative methods and statistics which enable them to undertake research
projects at tertiary level.
