Course info

This course covers modern and contemporary Chinese Literature, focusing on academic trends and development of modern and contemporary literature, and further discusses and explores related topics which enable students to understand the existing research findings and trends, including some controversial issues. By focusing and analyze on certain aspects of the subject, explores and discusses on different perspectives and approaches of researches, expands the students’ view of criticism and appreciation, and thus enhances commentary on writers and literary phenomenon. In fact, it helps in arousing student interest in certain research topics, helping in narrowing or even identifying their thesis topics. Focus topics will be studied and discussed to the greatest extent, while keep updates to the new topics.

 本课程涵括了中国现代和当代文学两大部分，关注现当代文学专业的学术动态与前沿，并聚焦与深入探讨相关主题，让学生了解现有的研究成果和研究趋向，包括一些有争议的问题，同时通过对课题中某些方面的重点分析，引发对不同研究角度与方法的探讨，从而拓展学生的批评和鉴赏的眼界，学习如何评论作家作品与文学现象。实际而言，也有助于引起同学们对某一研究课题的兴趣，或者可以从中找到毕业论文的题目。焦点课题会随着界内研究和讨论的饱和而稍息，并随时聚焦和关注新课题。
