This is an elective course for undergraduates. The course content emphasizes on the production background, historical development, artistic characteristics and cultural connotation of material civilization in China. This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the material civilization in China and the wisdom of ancient Chinese.

本课程为本科生选修课。主要讲授中国物质文明，如陶瓷、青铜器、古建筑等的产生背景、发展历程、艺术特色及历史文化内涵，以此让学生了解中国物质文明与体会中国古人的智慧。
