Course info

This course introduces students to China's historical and geographical backgrounds, the development of Chinese culture, its social and political structures, the folk culture characteristics, its basic social status and etc. Through the study of Chinese culture, students gain a better understanding of the Malaysian Chinese culture.

本课程旨在使学生通过学习，对中国的历史地理环境、中国文化的发展基础及其所依赖的社会政治结构、民族文化特征、基本社会状况等有一个初步的比较全面、准确、客观的了解和认识，从而激发起学生探寻中国文化宝库、钻研中国文化奥秘。从中国文化引申，以激发学生对延自中国的大马华人文化做更进一步的认识与思考。
